Spread Our Message: What is Our Message?

We do not have a manifesto. Not yet. Well, maybe never.

So, what is our Message?

Well, we do not have a message per se, we have Themes.

It is an odd combination of the following, you can pick and choose as you would at a Chinese fast-food restaurant. It can be all of them, or just one - a la carte.

(It is really many things to many people.)

1. Mocking College Culture. Although, many of us do not like this, some Students join the CCCP because it provides them with a venue to mock the pervesely, almost facist, leftist politics in many College Campuses. It has become such de rigueur for one to love "Rage Against the Machine", wear Che T-Shirst (Without ever reading anything of/about him), protest against Starbucks, analyze the Superstructure, wear "GAP Sucks" T-Shirts, et cetera, et cetera and et cetera.

Drowning in such a culture, the CCCP gives students, who dont fit into the stereotypical leftist politcal college culture cultureto, a way to release their frustrations and mock. It serves as a Catharsis. And, it lets those who do wear "Rage Against the Machine" T-Shirts and hand-out "BUSH = RACIST, SEXIST" pamphlets (Like at CCSF) a chance to realize that not every College Students wants to be a part of their movement and culture.

2. Embracing Countradiction. This is our main theme. We are tired of the dichotomay that many people see the world in. Good vs. Evil. Black vs. White. Left vs. Right. Capitalist vs. Socialism. Love vs. Hate.

Although, dividing the world into halves is an easy and convient thing to do, we must realize that upon close inspection the world does rarely functions in such a clear distiction between halves. We live amist grayness and many times contradictions. There is not Truth but Truths. Everything about outselves is the product of our enviorment, yet, we are still individuals capable of making reasonably independent decisions.

3. Our Friends Made Us Do It. Like Message/Theme number #1, most CCCPers do not like this very much. But, what can we do when someone says "But, I thought you are my friend?" Nothing. Well, one could just say "No". But, we are nice people.

We are a loose network of College Students who are fighting for our common cause. We do not take ourselves seriously. We are avid readers of Marxism, Gender Theory, Culture Studies, Literature, Feminism, The Rollingstone, Spin, and, of course, Maxim. We are well-rounded individuals who are drawn into the Message of CCCP.
